Sobeys Inc. is proudly Canadian, with more than 111 years of experience in the food retail business. As one of only two national grocery retailers in Canada, they serve the food shopping needs of Canadians with approximately 1,500 stores in all 10 provinces under retail banners that include Sobeys, Safeway, IGA, Foodland, FreshCo, Thrifty Foods and Lawtons Drugs, as well as more than 350 retail fuel locations.
Challenge
Their previous platforms were not flexible enough to consistently support the digital strategy. They looked to engage a partner which would service the entire digital landscape and modernize their platforms.
Strategy
We pivoted away from the existing platforms to establish a foundation that could sustainably support all of the digital marketing efforts. This included 35+ websites ranging in size and purpose.
